Distribution The transporting, storing and handling of goods on their way from the manufacturer to the consumer. This includes the decisions about where to sell a product. Marketing Research Marketing research involves customers in order to find solutions to problems through carefully designed studies. Steps in marketing research: Define the marketing problem. Study the situation. Develop a data collection procedure. Gather and analyze information. Propose a solution. 11 Research Studies Types of research studies Surveys Focus groups Observations Experiment Surveys The most common type of marketing research Surveys gather information from people using a planned set of questions.
