the denominator.
If no to step 1, try to simplify the fraction
to make a perfect square in the
denominator.
Simplify top and bottom separately.
Simplify numbers outside of radicals if
possible.
Remember
** Numbers outside the radical can be divided
by each other and numbers inside can be
divided, but a whole number CANNOT be
divided by a number under a radical!**
