The verb gustar only functions with Indirect object pronouns me, te, le, nos, les Indirect Object Pronouns: Subject Pronouns: me nos yo nosotros te os tü X le les él,ella ellos, ellas When you talk about what you like to do, use the phrase: Me gusta + infinitive Te gusta + infinitive Le gusta + infinitive The infinitive is the basic form of the verb bailar Leer to dance to read to sing Cantar to swim Nadar to eat to skate to write to work Comer Patinar escribir trabajar Examples Me,te, le gusta + infinitive Te gusta correr. Le gusta correr. ¿Te gusta correr? ¿Le gusta correr? You like to run. He/She likes to run. ¿Do you like to run? ¿Does he/she like to run? To say someone doesn’t like something, use no before the phrase. No me gusta correr. No le gusta correr. I don’t like to run. He/She doesn’t like to run. The verb gustar with singular and plural nouns. To express your likes and dislikes, use the expression (no) me gusta + el/la + [singular noun] or (no) me gustan + los/las + [plural noun].
