Some Christians think it’s all right!

So what does the bible say?

'If there is a man who lies with a male as
those who lie with a woman, both of them
have committed a detestable act; they shall
surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltiness is
upon them. Leviticus 20:13

So what does the bible say?

For since the creation of the world His (G-d’s) invisible
attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have
been clearly seen, being understood through what has
been made, so that they are without excuse. For even
though they knew G-d, they did not honor Him as G-d,
or give thanks; but they became futile in their
speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Professing to be wise, they became fools, and
exchanged the glory of the incorruptible G-d for an
image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and
four-footed animals and crawling creatures.

So what does the bible say?

Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their
hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be
dishonored among them. For they exchanged the truth
of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature
rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
For this reason God gave them over to degrading
passions; for their women exchanged the natural
function for that which is unnatural, and in the same
way also the men abandoned the natural function of the
woman and burned in their desire toward one another,
men with men committing indecent acts and receiving
in their own persons the due penalty of their error.

Response:
There probably is a gene for homosexuality.
 There probably is also a gene for adultery
and/or perversion, for being a thief, a liar;
even murder.


The condition of the flesh is an open door to
Satan and demonic manifestations in every
conceivable form. The choice is to obey
even when the “flesh” desires a wrong thing.
How can you say it’s a
wrong thing?
I don’t see that a “same-sex” family
in my community effects me and
my household at all?
It’s not determinately against you,
it’s against The Creator Himself!
The Truth:
In 1993 Dean Hamer and colleagues published
findings from a linkage analysis of a sample of 76
homosexual brothers and their families. Hamer (and
his colleagues) found that the homosexual men had
more homosexual male uncles and cousins on the
mother’s side of the family than on the father’s side.
Homosexual brothers who showed this maternal
pedigree were then tested for X chromosome linkage,
using twenty-two markers on the X chromosome to
test for similar alleles (“ah-leels,” any of several forms
of a gene, usually arising through mutation, that are
responsible for hereditary variation).
The Truth:
In another finding, thirty-three of the forty sibling pairs
tested were found to have similar alleles in the distal
region of Xq28, which was significantly higher than the
expected rates of 50% for fraternal brothers. This was
popularly dubbed as the 'gay gene' in the media,
causing significant controversy. Sanders et al. in 1998
reported on their similar study, in which they found that
13% of uncles of gay brothers on the maternal side
were homosexual, compared to 6% on the paternal
side.
The Truth:
A later analysis by Hu et al. replicated and refined the
earlier findings. This study revealed that 67% of
homosexual brothers in a new saturated sample shared a
marker on the X chromosome at Xq28. Although two other
studies (Bailey et al., 1999; McKnight and Malcolm, 2000)
failed to find a preponderance of homosexual relatives in
the maternal (mother’s) line of homosexual men, a
rigorous replication of the maternal loading was reported
on samples in Italy and England. One study by Rice et al.
in 1999 failed to replicate the Xq28 linkage results. Metaanalysis of all available linkage data indicates a significant
link to Xq28, but also indicates that additional genes must
be present to account for the full heritability of sexual
orientation. A recent study of 894 heterosexual and 694
homosexual men found no evidence of sex linkage.

Can Changes Occur within a Lifetime?
EPIGENETICS
The modern usage of the word in scientific
discourse refers to heritable traits (over
rounds of cell division and sometimes
transgenerationally) that do not involve
changes to the underlying DNA sequence.
The Greek prefix epi- in epigenetics implies
features that are "on top of" or "in addition to"
genetics; thus epigenetic traits exist on top of
or in addition to the traditional molecular
basis for inheritance.
Molecular basis of Epigenetics
The molecular basis of epigenetics involves modifications
of the activation of certain genes, but not the basic
structure of DNA. Additionally, the chromatin proteins
associated with DNA may be activated or silenced. This
accounts for why the differentiated cells in a multi-cellular
organism express only the genes that are necessary for
their own activity. Epigenetic changes are preserved
when cells divide. Most epigenetic changes only occur
within the course of one individual organism's lifetime,
but, if a mutation in the DNA has been caused in sperm or
egg cell that results in fertilization, then some epigenetic
changes are inherited from one generation to the next.
This raises the question of whether or not epigenetic
changes in an organism can alter the basic structure of its
DNA, a form of “Lamarckism.”
Epigenetic Studies
A recent study suggests linkage between a mother's genetic
make-up and homosexuality of her sons. Women have two
X chromosomes, one of which is "switched off." The
inactivation of the X chromosome occurs randomly
throughout the embryo, resulting in cells that are mosaic with
respect to which chromosome is active. In some cases
though, it appears that this switching off can occur in a nonrandom fashion. Bocklandt et al. (2006) reported that, in
mothers of homosexual men, the number of women with
extreme skewing of X chromosome inactivation is
significantly higher than in mothers without gay sons.
Thirteen percent of mothers with one gay son, and 23% of
mothers with two gay sons showed extreme skewing,
compared to 4% percent of mothers without gay sons.
Epigenetic Conclusions
Epi-genes can be turned on or off within
an individuals life-time based on their
environment (and choices).
 Epi-genes can be passed down (mother to
son)
 Epi-genes may possibly effect permanent
changes in DNA.


Where does this leave us?
It’s still each individual’s choice and in the
end we will be judged according to what we
chose.
 The United States and all the nations are
pressing forward down the road of selfdestruction, and everyone thinks the changes
they are making will make things better.
 People go about saying “G-d bless America”
while defiantly pushing behaviors that are
against His nature and being in His face.

Where does this leave us?
Let the United States do what it wants, “as
for me and my house we will serve the L-rd.”

