TWO HALF-DAY INTERACTIVE WORKSHOPS IN PERTH



10 November: Search Engine Optimisation – Increasing your online positioning and
sales
The Australian Marketing Institute, in partnership with White Chalk Road, will present a
unique opportunity for you to attend two half-day interactive workshops. Places are limited to
a maximum of 25 people at each workshop.
Day 1, 4 November: Internet Marketing – Explore your options to gaining success online
This half-day workshop is suitable for all people seeking to obtain an overview of Internet
marketing strategies and gain key skills to identify the right strategy for their business.
The function of Internet marketing and its lifecycle will be discussed. You will gain an insight
into current Internet market trends and learn which steps are necessary and tools are
available in the planning and implementation of a successful strategy.
Be introduced to the concepts of search engine optimisation and paid search and learn
through recent business case studies how you can you can attract more new visitors to your
website and generate more targeted leads and sales with a carefully planned strategy.

Day 2, 10 November: Search Engine Optimisation – Increasing your online positioning and
sales
This half-day workshop is suitable for all people who already have a general understanding
of Internet marketing and are seeking to obtain an overview of the principles of SEO and
how higher search engine positions can directly relate to increased sales.
The function of the SEO marketing lifecycle will be discussed. You will gain an insight into
ranking factors and unravel some of the myths about SEO and what it can and cannot do for
a website and business. Discover the tools that are available to you in the planning of a SEO
strategy and recognise how website design choices can affect your search engine
positioning.
