Open Position: Assistant Catering Sales Manager, Prestonwood Country Club, Cary, NC
Prestonwood Country Club, in Cary, North Carolina, is seeking an experienced individual with a
proven performance record to be our next Assistant Catering Sales Manager. If you have the

Position requirements include, but are not limited to the following:













Minimum 2-3 years’ Catering Sales experience with emphasis on weddings, social and
corporate events in a high volume, private club and/or hotel.
Hospitality degree preferred (can substitute 3-4 years of catering sales experience).
Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
Knowledge of social etiquette.
Experience using various forms of social media.
Strong knowledge of menu planning, with the ability to suggest complementing food
and beverage selections.
High energy with an outgoing personality.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Knowledge of Jonas Event Management Software preferred, or other catering software,
but not required.
Strong team player attitude and the ability to work well with other employee partners.
Building long term relationships with club members and guests.
MUST be able to pass a background check and drug test.
