CURRENT OPENINGS: Installers (Kansas City, KS) Fabricators (Kansas City, KS) Purchasing/Inventory Manager (Kansas City, KS) CAD Tech (Kansas City, KS) *Remote Templater (Topeka, KS) Installers (granite/marble) Starting Pay: Compensation will commensurate with experience for individuals that possess industry experience. For non-experienced, the minimum starting pay is $12 per hour with a step-in-pay adjustment plan. Installers are responsible for the installation of stone countertops (granite or engineered stone). This includes providing excellent customer service, maintaining a safe and efficient installation that is firsttime quality. Installers work with a lead installer to learn the craftsmanship to install countertops. Job Requirements: • Ideal candidate will possess previous experience installing stone countertops and/or other related industry experience in remodeling, tiling, carpentry and/or construction. Experience in stone fabrication is a plus, but not required. • Able to complete a satisfactory physical exam, background check (criminal and motor vehicle), and drug screen. • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s licenses • Able to work in a team effort environment, and display professionalism at all times • Carrying stone requires heavy lifting (100+ lbs) • Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include working outside the typical schedule of Mon.-Fri., and overtime. Polishers I (granite/marble) Starting Pay: Compensation will commensurate with experience for individuals that possess industry experience. For non-experienced, the minimum starting pay is $12 per hour with a step-in-pay adjustment plan. Polishers are responsible for polishing all edge details in a safe, high quality, and efficient manner. Other duties/tasks: Reading CAD drawings; verify top dimensions/details up against job drawings; inspection of materials for quality assurance; moving materials around using overhead crane or proper lifting procedures; and maintaining a safe, clean and organized work area. Job Requirements: • This job requires a physical demand that includes: constant (67%-100%) standing and repetitive motions using vibrating power tools, and occasional (0 -30%) pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting material over 100lbs. • Previous experience in fabricating stone materials and/or carpentry is a plus. Also, willing to train the right person with no prior experience. • Must be able to read and understand units of measurements. • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (Eye glasses, ear plugs, waterproof gear, and face mask) • Must complete a satisfactory physical exam and drug screen. Purchasing/Inventory Manager Starting Pay: Compensation will commensurate with experience. The Purchasing/Inventory Manager (PIM) is responsible for managing, purchasing, and storing all inventories needed for the Stone Division (fabrication & installation) and sales. This position plays a key role to our financial reporting system by providing accurate details of on-hand inventories into the Moraware System. Duties & Responsibilities: • Enforcing safety procedures at all times by practicing safe acts and maintaining safe conditions. • Supervise warehouse staff, and maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training and developing employees. • Handle all the purchasing administration and develop relationships with suppliers to ensure we are purchasing the highest quality of inventories at the lowest price possible. • Manage and track all incoming and outgoing inventories. Monitor and maintain acceptable levels of inventories in accordance to the production/installation schedules. • Perform routine cycle counts • Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols. • Allocate material and supplies to each job ticket in the most precise manner to save cost and maximize material/supply usage. • Train, motivate, and create a continuous improvement environment where all employees are involved in Kaizen activities, and actively contributing improvement suggestions. Job Requirements: • • • 2-3 years’ experience managing all aspects of inventory. Experience working with countertops or building materials is a plus, but not required. Prior experience with successful implementation of Lean Manufacturing techniques, or other continuous improvement methodologies including 5S. Must be extremely organized with great communication • • • Other qualifications and skills: Supervision, Safety, Developing Standards, Managing Processes, Surveillance Skills, Reporting Skills, Analyzing Information , Equipment Maintenance, Judgment Computer skills using Windows (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Previous experience using a fully integrated manufacturing system is strongly preferred. Must be able to work outside the typical work shift of 7:00am-4:00pm, and work about 45-50 per week. CAD Technician Starting pay will commensurate with experience The CAD Technician is responsible for creating precise CAD drawings that will be handed as guides for the fabrication and installation process. Duties/responsibilities: Know how to read and translate countertop drawings and input details into AutoCAD software to develop a final computerized drawing of products. Proofread and ensure that all details and descriptions are included in the drawings (measurements, sink, cook top, faucet holes and more). Handle and process job ticket paperwork in a timely manner. Job Requirements: •Must have knowledge of AutoCAD 2002 software or higher, with a minimum of 6 months experience working in an occupation using CAD, or have taken AutoCAD courses. This is an entry level CAD position that requires no certification/licensing. •Must have good organizational and analytical skills. •Previous experience with interior design and/or stone or solid surface fabrications is a plus, but not required. Remote Templater (Topeka, KS) Starting Pay: Compensation will commensurate with experience. Templater’s are responsible for collecting precise measurements of countertops, backsplashes, sinks, and other specifications, that will be used for further processing in fabrication and installation. Measurements are taken by using a Proliner digital machine to provide data. Other duties/tasks include gathering, verifying, and document all jobsite specifications and design elements. This is position will operate remotely out in field and at home (away from Top Master facilities.) All equipment necessary to conduct job duties will be provided by the company (including vehicle.) Job Requirements: • Candidate must have previous work experience either templating or installing granite/marble countertops. Measuring experience with a Proliner is a plus but not required. • Must be able to complete a satisfactory physical exam, background check (criminal and motor vehicle), and drug screen. • Must have and maintain a valid drivers license at all times during employment • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. • Physical demand of lifting equipment and tools that is a maximum of 50 pounds or less. • Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include working outside the typical schedule of Mon.-Fri., and overtime.
