time. Lavender blue flowers in spring. The fragrant flowers in racemes up to 30cm long open
all at once and appear before the vine comes into leaf. Plant on a strong sturdy support or
large tree in any reasonable soil. Hardy, deciduous.

Flowers with mauve/blue to purple blooms with yellow blotch. This is a vigorous growing
variety with long racemes up to 1m. Leaves pale bronze-green when young.

Wisteria venesta White Silk
A rare Japanese variety with soft, silky young foliage and unusually large cream flowers
produced on short racmes. Blooms are produced early to mid-season and plants make
excellent container specimens. Deciduous, prefers full sun or partial shade.
Xeronema callistermon
Rare and unusual perennial has large fans of bright green, sword shaped leaves. Arching
stems of long, toothbrush like rusty red flower heads are produced in spring and early
summer and create a startling focal point in the landscape. Prefers full sun, frost tender.
Yucca elephantipes
Long shiny dark green leaves with finely serrated edges. White, drooping bell-shaped flowers
from summer to autumn.
Yucca filamentosa
An evergreen shrub witch forms rosettes of long, sword shaped green leaves growing to a
metre long, during summer it produces highly decorative flower-spikes which bear pendulous
white tulip shaped flowers. Best grown in full sun. 1.8m high, 1.5m wide.
