the midterm test will be reduced from 30% to 20%. Your report for the assignment should be the result of

1) What is a frame axiom? [3 marks]
2) What is the frame problem narrowly construed? [4 marks]
3) Suppose that you are using frame axioms to specify when fluents persist. Suppose
also that you have n fluents and m actions. How many frame axioms would you need
in terms of n and m? [2 marks]
4) How does the STRIPS approach works to solve the frame problem? [4 marks]
5) According to Dennett, why is the frame problem (widely construed) different from the
problem of induction? [4 marks]
6) Why would a property like “Fridgeon” be problematic for a STRIPS-like approach to
