different languages, Latin,
German, Spanish, French and
Portuguese

• Theater was a popular form of
entertainment in ancient Rome
• Theaters were built in the shape
of the letter D, With awnings
protected people from the sun
• People would spend all day
watching dramas, comedies and
mimes.

readings they would go into
smaller theaters called odeums
• The Roman poet Virgil
composed massive epics such
as Adenoid

and dark, so the Romans

sand) followed with 1-3 coats
of lime mixed with
powdered marble, colored
pigments were applied while
the wall was still damp.

liquid wax were added after
the wall had dried.
