MK472 Magnetic Contact with changeover contacts Key Features include: Insert picture here Surface mounted contact High security contact with C, N/O & N/C Suitable for wood applications Various European apparoivals Long operational life Aesthically designed Security and access control system applications Accessories to compliment installations Opening protection MK472 Magnetic Contact with changeover contacts Connection Options MK472 shown without a magnetic field present Operating Principles MK472 magnetic contact has two parts: the contact part with alarm and sabotage reed switches and the magnet part. In its neutral position the alarm reed switch remains closed under the force of the magnetic field. Opening the monitored object increases the distance between the reed switch and the magnet. This reduces the influence of the magnetic field on the reed switch until it opens and activate an alarm. MK472 is equipped in additional protection against unauthorized opening with sabotage loop and external magnetic field.
