Receives D.O.Blood from the
VENA CAVA
Opens to allow blood to flow from
RA  RV
Receives blood from the RA and
sends it out to the lungs via the
Pulmonary Artery
Separates the right and left sides
of the heart. Allows heart to be 2
pumps.
Allows DOB to be sent to the lungs
for oxygen.
Allows for CO2 and O2 to be
exchanged through the walls of the
capillaries.
Allows O2-rich blood to travel
from the lungs back to the LA of
the heart
Receives O2 rich blood from the
Lungs via the pulmonary vein
Opens to allow blood to flow from
LA LV
Receives blood from the LA and
sends it out to the rest of the body
via the aorta
Allows blood to flow back to the
heart from the UE and LE.
