Details of the changes made are outlined below. Gene content Updated from 80 to 155 genes (V2.0) Content of phenotypic panels revised in response to user feedback and recent literature reports Analysis of genes for Carney complex; cyclindromatosis, trichoepithelioma; hereditary multiple exostoses; inherited lung cancer; Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome; tuberous sclerosis phenotypes included Section for testing cases of inherited haematological malignancies included Analysis of specific regions falling outside of standard scope of assay now possible e.g. MSH2 inversion of exons 1-7 (for full details refer to our website) From September 2016 all results will be reported according to the V2.0 panel content, unless requested otherwise Gene dosage assessment (as previous) Performed by comparative depth of coverage assessment of NGS data Dosage changes where identified are confirmed by a second independent method where possible Test charging and turnaround times Diagnostic testing: sequencing and dosage - £860 80d TAT Reanalysis charge (per request) - £250 40d TAT From September 2016 a 10% surcharge will be added to all private and overseas referrals Test selection (as previous) Select the sub-panel of choice or Customise your selection using the appropriate page of the referral form Updated referral form (V2.0) A revised version of our cancer panel reflecting these changes may be downloaded from our website http://www.leedsth.nhs.uk/a-z-of-services/molecular-genetics/testpages/cancer-chip-panel/ Please contact the laboratory should you require further information.
