Verbos Project:
Choose and complete one of the following projects about conjugating verbs in Spanish.
1. (Individual) Create and illustrate a toddler’s children’s storybook using the present tense
verbs we have used (ejemplo: I walk through the park. I see a squirrel. The squirrel sees
me and runs. Etc.) Must be at least 15 sentences using a variety of verbs.
a. Draft: Write a draft for the story. Include a title and all of the sentences you will
use in the story.
b. Final Draft: An illustrated book with a title and all of the sentences. Neat and in
color.
2. (Individual) Create a poster or booklet presenting and explaining in your own words how
to conjugate verbs in the present tense. Include charts and many examples- 10
sentences with each verb ending (-ar/-er/-ir) for a total of 30 example sentences.
a. Draft: Write a rough draft of your explanations and example sentences.
b. Final Draft: Bring in your completed poster or booklet.
3. (Groups of 2) Create a song, rap, or parody about conjugating regular present tense
verbs.
a. Draft: Write the lyrics to the song.
b. Final Draft: Record yourselves singing the song and email it to
[email protected]
4. If you have any other ideas, you may request to do a different type of conjugation
project.
