Note that this is NOT the play the Teen Performance Company will perform in 2017/2018,

PARENT/GUARDIAN COMMITMENT - Applicant’s Parent/Guardian should read and sign

Participating in the Teen Performance Company is a tremendously rewarding experience, but necessitates a
serious commitment of time and energy. The 8-month process includes classes, meetings, special events and
rehearsals and culminates in 5 performances including a daytime student matinee March 16-18, 2018. The
program will not conflict with regular schoolwork or school commitments outside of the Student Matinee. While
Round House Theatre will make every effort to accommodate student conflicts, students should not be allowed to
participate if they do not have the time required to complete the project.
The plays selected for the Teen Performance Company are contemporary and engage student artists in
conversations about topics relevant to their lives. Their subject matter can be mature. RHT encourages parents
to read the script, and familiarize themselves with the content of the play.
Activities take place at the Education Center at 925 Wayne Avenue in Silver Spring, MD and at the Round House
Theatre at 4545 East-West Highway, Bethesda, MD.
I understand the commitment my student is making and will support her/him in her/his participation in Teen
Performance Program culminating in The Sarah Metzger Memorial Play at Round House Theatre.
