More than half the people are sick, the rest of the people looked stuck to their pews. The Lord healed the
sick, now what? The congregation was small, it did not appear to grow.
Posters were up advertising the crusade. 1 asked the people" did anyone come as a result"? "No one". "Do
you think Jesus would put up posters to come to a certain place to hear Him"? No Jesus went to the people.
"Everyone stand up, pick up your pews we are going to the market place, everyon e came outside, now lets
sing". We walk with half hearted singing and put up the speakers and megaphone.
Within minuets as the numbers of people double, we sing two songs and 1 give the gospel message. The
people respond and become Christians. I then call the sick forward, Jesus heals them and they testify.
That evening many come from the mar ket place. The next morning the church was full to overflowing
with more people from the market place to become Christians. 30 new Christians join the church.
The church is now an outreaching church going into the market places, schools, prisons and once or twice a
month. They no longer sit on
their pews for long, for now they have
a heart to reach the lost.
Gucha Crusade with Peter
Gucha is up in the hills in Kenya, small churches with disunity.
The first night, no response, accept for one healing and a young man asking prayer for his mom to return
after twenty years absence. She had suddenly left the village.
Next day Saturday, the Arch Bishop arrived at the pastors house. it was beginning to rain and it was an
outside crusade to begin at 2pm. We prayed for the rain to stop. Suddenly men entered excitedly to tell us,
they had just seen the clouds turn round and the rain stop.
We had a wonderful crusade in sunshine and many responded, I also prayed for the archbishops eyes.
Sunday. To our amazement, all the churches cancelled their services and joined ours. We then found out
why. The boys mom had returned yesterday, after being away 20 years, plus the Lord had stopped the rain
for the crusade. The whole village now realised that Jesus Christ is Lord and alive in our midst.
The rejoicing was ecstatic as all the de nominations became as one to evangelise the whole community, for
now they really believed.
Three weeks later we had an email from the Arch Bishops to say that the Lord had healed his eyes and
he can now see.
