Publications of Ghassan Beydoun Summary and highlights Total: More than 100 publications in total, including 30 journal papers, 15 Refereed Book chapters and more than 50 International Conferences. Citations and impact: h-index 19 on Google Citations (h-index 11 on Scopus), ~1000 citations. - Visibility of my current work on Disaster Management knowledge sharing is quickly gathering momentum, e.g. an invited talk in 2016 at ICICA, a recent keynote invitation by the Japanese Naval Research to the 2011 Workshop on Social Computing and Cultural Modeling in Thailand, another invitation to give a speech at the Annual World Congress of Emerging InfoTech-2012(WCEIT-2012) in China, a best paper award nomination at the Australasian Conference on Information Systems (ACIS2010) and ACIS2013 and SCC 2014. - The above DM work also forms the basis of an ongoing funded collaboration with NSW SES. - My current work on enhancing the agents systems development with the use of ontologies is gaining increasing visibility in Europe and locally as recognised by a recently completed ARC Discovery Grant (2008-2011) - My proposed intelligent agent modelling language FAML was considered by OMG Agent Modelling standard committee and was the third highest cited paper in IEEE Transactions On Software Engineering in 2009 (22 Scopus citations in 1 year). - My recent work on incremental construction of knowledge bases is highly visible and cited (as evidenced by a high rate of citations) and continues to be influential and developed in recent Australian and Japanese PhDs. Quality: All my journals are all ISI and Scopus indexed, ERA listed (with many A/A* journals). Acceptance rate of conferences and book chapters is as low as 9% and around 25% on average, and many are A level conferences – using CORE and ERA list (e.g. ISD, ACIS, EKAW, EMSAD, IDEAS, ACM SELMAS) with a string of specialised B level conferences (ICOSOFT, PRICAI, AOIS, AI, PKAW) Refereed journals 1.
