ENGLISH GRAMMAR CONNECTION: Reflexive verbs and reflexive pronouns show that the subject of a sentence both does and receives the action of the verb. The reflexive pronouns in English end in –self or –selves. Then tell someone what to do. ENGLISH GRAMMAR CONNECTION: In both English and Spanish affirmative tú commands are used to tell someone to do something. APPLICATION: Remember regular affirmative tú commands are the same as the él/ella/Ud. forms in the present tense. Some verbs you know have irregular affirmative tú commands. These need to be memorized.
