St. Anthony Geriatric Diagnostic Center
The “senior years” present unique challenges, especially for senior adults facing mental health
challenges. Depression, anxiety, dementia and other mental health struggles complicate the “normal”
health issues already associated with aging, both for us…and for our families.
St. Anthony’s Geriatric Diagnostic Center helps seniors live fuller lives with greater independence. At the
St. Anthony South campus, we offer 24-hour inpatient care for a full range of mental health issues, as
well as medical issues that may develop during a stay. We also offer partial hospitalization, intensive
outpatient and outpatient medication management.
Geriatric Diagnostic Center
Inpatient hospitalization programs offer comprehensive mental health diagnosis and treatment for
senior adults. Using a multidisciplinary approach, symptoms of emotional, psychiatric, behavioral and
stress related problems are treated to improve quality of live and relationships. Call 405.713.5733 for
pre-screening and to schedule an evaluation.
Outpatient Medication Clinic
This clinic provides patients with medication evaluations and follow-up visits conducted by a
psychiatrist. Evaluations are provided for adults (age 17+) and senior adults. Psychiatrists are available
for appointments Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please call the office during
normal business hours or between 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday to schedule an appointment. For
more information or to schedule an appointment, call 405.713.5790.
Stages
An alternative to—or a step down from—inpatient care, Stages offers a unique pairing of partial
hospitalization with intensive outpatient treatment in a highly structured environment that includes
individualized treatment planning, therapeutic milieu, individual and group therapy, enrichment
activities, medication management, patient-specific consulting, and comprehensive discharge planning.
Transportation provided within 20 miles of the hospital, and Stages is covered by Medicare. For
information, call 405.713.5726.
By combining specialized services with a multidisciplinary approach, we can accurately diagnose and
treat not only your immediate problems, but even minimize the effects of chronic conditions.
The Treatable Signs of Aging
Seniors’ symptoms often indicate emotional, psychiatric, behavioral or stress-related issues, which may
be medical, psychological, or a combination of both. Once considered “normal signs of aging,” many
mental health challenges are actually symptoms of treatable conditions. With proper diagnosis and
treatment, we can help seniors improve their quality of life and restore relationships with friends and
loved ones.
