What is a Low Volatility Fund?
TD Asset Management Inc. (TDAM) uses proprietary risk
models to review and identify emerging market stocks which
have demonstrated lower long-term volatility. The model is
then extended to assess correlations between stocks and sector
concentrations with the aim of achieving an optimized portfolio.
The result is a diversified and actively managed portfolio of
emerging market stocks that seeks to exhibit consistently
lower volatility than typical emerging market equity funds.
