TD Emerging Markets Low Volatility Fund Investment Objectives Seek to achieve long-term capital appreciation by investing primarily in, or gaining exposure to, equity securities of issuers in emerging market countries, while seeking to reduce volatility. Features Fund Type: Emerging Markets Equity Benchmark: What is a Low Volatility Fund? TD Asset Management Inc. (TDAM) uses proprietary risk models to review and identify emerging market stocks which have demonstrated lower long-term volatility. The model is then extended to assess correlations between stocks and sector concentrations with the aim of achieving an optimized portfolio. The result is a diversified and actively managed portfolio of emerging market stocks that seeks to exhibit consistently lower volatility than typical emerging market equity funds.
