Tepee Bible Camp
Board Member Qualifications and Job Description
1. Must profess Jesus Christ as personal Savior, and show that this
profession is real by all aspects of their life; clearly reflecting a life
directed and guided by God’s Holy Word and the Holy Spirit.
2. Must have an expressed desire for the evangelization of children,
and their further spiritual upbringing. An added plus, but not essential
quality is to be currently or previously involved in a children’s ministry
that involves preaching/teaching the gospel and Word of Truth.
3. Must be willing to attend 4 of the 6 board meetings held
throughout the year and carry out their duties as assigned by the
board.
4. Must agree to all points of the doctrinal statement of Tepee Bible
Camp, and be willing to uphold it.
5. Must be at least 21 years of age.
6. Must be willing and able to spend time to promote the camp within
and outside of their own church with intent to gain financial and
prayer support, as well as recruit volunteer staff and physical help,
and to recruit children.
7. Must be willing to serve in any capacity on the camp board within
his or her physical capabilities, spiritual gifts, and other abilities.
8. Faithfully pray for all aspects of Tepee Bible Camp.
9. Attend at least one day of Helping Hands Camp and or the Annual
Family Camp, as well as one other work day.
10. Attend and recruit others to attend the annual Smoke Signal
Fundraiser Dinner.
11. Set policies governing the camp.
12. Manage the finances and bookkeeping for the camp. (Treasurer
only)
13. Determine the need for new facilities at the camp and supervise
the construction of the same.
14. Be the final authority in all matters pertaining to Tepee Bible
Camp.
