DO Ex) Mud and leaves clogged the gutters. DO Ex) Which rocket did they launch? Indirect Objects: is a noun or pronoun that appears with a direct object and names the person/thing that something is given to or done for. Ask “to whom?” or “for whom?” or “to what?” or “for what?” IO DO Ex) NASA gave the astronauts a course correction. IO DO Ex) The teacher taught our class astrophysics. Ex) We made the couch a slipcover. Important Note: If you see words like: to, for, in, etc…these are NOT NOT direct objects or indirect objects!!!
