Photosynthesis:
The process in which plants convert carbon dioxide, with the
help of sun’s energy, into food (sugar) and release oxygen.
1. Chlorophyll (plant cells) absorbs sunlight.
2. Sun’s energy splits water into hydrogen and oxygen
molecules.
3. Hydrogen joins with carbon dioxide to make food (sugar).
4. Sugar spreads throughout plants produces oxygen.
5. Humans use oxygen to survive.
