Solution of DC remote power supply

Convert the -48v power of macro base station to 215~410v via DC/DC boost and transfer the
power to far end through cables. Then the voltage will be converted to -48v to load via DC/DC
buck. The cables are not grounded.

Safety analysis
With the feature of active defense, DC remote power supply system effectively keeps the personnel and
equipment safety and here is the reason:
①. The local end output is ungrounded, so no loop tank and electric shock if people touch the monopole.
②. With automatic detection functions for the status of open circuit, short-circuit, earth leakage, strong electric
lap, the local end will cut off the high-voltage output in 30ms after detecting the signal to avoid personal
injury.
③. Rated 20KA lightning is connected to the output of local end and the input of remote end to avoid the surge
impact of the remote transmission line to the equipments.

①. Wide output voltage range (215V-410V), the output voltage of local end can adapt automatically. The setting
voltage of local end controller is the input voltage of remote power. The local end will adjust its input voltage
automatically according to the cable loss.
