the fertile

dairy belt

Finish Those Math Sets!
• Check out this month’s brainteaser. The first person to
correctly answer it gets a
really cool prize. Last month,
there were no winners, so
come on and test your wit!
•The students in Mrs.
Smith's Math classes are working hard on their math standards and multiplication sets.
An important job they have
taken on
is filling
out practice
sheets for
their math
sets and
taking timed tests on their
letter. Everyone shares the
same goal of trying to get to
the last letter of the math sets,
which is "W", by December.
In December the students will
have an opportunity to spend
their "money" from their
checkbooks. Most students
have a sizable amount of
money at this time, but will
receive an additional $50 for
completing their math sets in
multiplication. They will also
receive a party from Mrs.
Smith and Mrs. Bangert if everyone can reach this goal.
Keep up
the hard
work!
Each month a new brain teaser or puzzle will be
shown here. If you are the first to correctly
report the answer to the teacher listed, you will

receive an awesome prize! Put those thinking caps on!
