World Language Department at Northgate High “The study of languages and cultures is for all students.” Goals for the WL Department: a. To develop high levels of proficiency in several of the world's languages and cultures. b. To move beyond traditional approaches in which students learn about languages and cultures. c. To provide opportunities for students to learn languages for real-world purposes in culturally-appropriate ways.
