What is Propaganda
• Rumors or false exaggerations to discredit a
target person, group, or institution
• Usually plays off fallacies and emotions of
viewers
• Common propaganda topics include politics,
drugs, racial issues, and gender issues.
• Shows in many forms, videos, pictures, posters,
advertisements, etc.
– Often times, messages are hidden.
