Subtract or Add Unlike Fractions:

Multiply numerator and denominator by the opposite denominator.
Re-write the problem with the new like denominators.
Subtract or Add to solve.
Simplify (if necessary).
Multiply Fractions:
1. Multiply straight across. →→→ top x

2. Simplify.

Divide Fractions:
1. Convert Mixed Numbers to Improper Fractions
2. KCF (Keep Change Flip) Multiply by the inverse (flip) of the
second fraction.
3. Rewrite the multiplication problem using KCF.
4. Multiply straight across top and bottom.
5. Simplify.
