Holt Handbook: 5th Course Exercise Assignments
Directions:
In blue or black ink (not pencil), write each of these assignments legibly in your notebook.
Label them exactly [for example, Exercise 1a: The Noun (3-4)], and keep this section of your
notebook easily accessible. I recommend that you organize these exercises in a pullout, or,
portfolio-type section for our easy access.
Special Instructions: to increase memory and skill, and unless otherwise instructed by me,
write out all sentences, regardless of the instructions in the book. However, highlighted
exercises do not need to have sentences written out. No typed documents will be accepted.
Points: each correctly completed exercise (80% correct answers) is worth ten (10) Homework
points.
