Cartilage is a type of soft tissue that allows structures to be folded or bent without damage (ear and nose)
What are ligaments?
Ligaments are tissues that hold bones together (knee and ankle)
What are tendons?
Tendons are tissues that connect muscle to muscle or muscle to bone (Achille's tendon attaches the calf muscle to the heel bone)
What are joints?
Joints are places where two or more bones join together.

A joint that allows the bending of the bone only in 1 direction. Hinge joint
