Parinirvana Day Celebration
Wednesday 15th February 2012
Parinirvana Day Celebration
Wednesday
15th
Angelic Reiki with Carole Tarbet
February from 6:15pm
On 15 February, we’ll be celebrating the festival
Parinirvana Day, which marks the physical death
of the Buddha, the end of his teaching and his
passing beyond time and space. We’ll be
marking it with a shared meal before the class,
from 6.15pm onwards. Please bring a vegetarian
contribution to share. Parinirvana is a chance to
reflect on the Buddha’s composure in the face of
death, and the fleeting nature and preciousness
of human life. It is also traditionally a time to bring
to mind anyone we know who’s died in the past
year. If you wish to do this, please bring along a
photograph of the person so that we can place
it on the shrine for the evening.

‘Angelic Reiki is a complementary therapy and
an effective tool for physical, mental and
emotional healing.
Healing treatments take place in a tranquil,
peaceful atmosphere enhanced by crystals,
candles, essential oils and beautiful music.
Healing is performed on the clothed body
through gentle touch whilst the client lies on a
couch. The healer places their hands on the
shoulders or either side of the head, and angelic
healing energy flows to the area that needs it
most.’
To book a therapy please call the centre on 0191
261 1722 or come in and sign up.
