2016 United States Police Canine Association Region 12 Winter
Conference
February 21-23
The Executive Board of Region 12 invites you to attend the 2016 winter handler conference.
This educational and networking conference is for the K9 Handler, by other K9 Handlers, focusing on
improving our skills and performance and increasing our safety on the street. Single purpose, dual
purpose, seasoned and rookie handlers will all benefit from this event.
Topics include: Dog Behavior and conditioning, E-Collar use, Officer Safety Tactics, Detector Dog
Legal considerations, Case Reviews and Emergency Response to drug Poisoning. Minnesota POST
credits have been applied for this conference.
You DO NOT need to be a member of the USPCA to attend; however, you MUST show your Law
Enforcement Badge/ID at registration.
The conference cost is $75, which includes the two days of classes and Lunch both days. For attendees
that stay at the hotel, breakfast is included in your night’s stay.
