Monopolies are illegal in the United States. - Silk is still one of China’s most important exports today. The United States assimilates many new immigrants into certain aspects of American culture. (football, TV, etc.) Assimilation - Rich Take Power Over the Poor - Gaps between rich and poor still exist all around the world today.
