You will create a scrapbook about your childhood. First, you will create a list of sentences about your childhood. (See criteria below) Second, create a book. Either find clip art, use actual photos, or draw them yourself. Third, tell me about your childhood using your book as a visual aid. (Oral test 2/6) Correct example of ir Correct example of ser Correct example of ver Correct example of –ar verb Correct example of –er verb Correct example of –ir verb Correct example of 4 other verbs Use of at least 4 of the following expressions: cuando era joven, cuando era niño, cuando tenía ___ años, de chiquito, de niño, de pequeño Book is neatly and nicely done Fluency/pronunciation of 5 of 5 of 5 of 5 of 5 of 5 of 20 of 20 of 15 of 5 Total _______ ¡Recuerda! No writing in the book! You should use the pictures to remind you of what you are going to say. Make sure that you are giving me an example of each verb in the imperfect, i.e. me gustaba escribir is an example of an –ar verb, not an –ir verb. Make sure that you give me an example of ir and an example of an -ir verb (vivir, escribir, subir, etc.) Crédito extra: For extra credit you may include two examples of the preterite to show me that you know the difference between the two tenses. Remember that you use the imperfect for things that you “used to do” or things that you “would do” frequently. Use the preterite for something that you did on a specific occasion. Here are two examples that you may not steal: Regular sentence: De niña, iba al patio de recreo todos los días. (Describes something that you did frequently.) Extra credit sentence: Cuando tenía cinco años, fui a Nueva York para visitar a mi tía. (Describes a one-time, completed action)
