Position: Publicity Ambassador

General Functional and Scope:
 The Publicity Ambassador will serve at the pleasure of the OSA President and Vice
President through promoting awareness of OSA activities to the campus and community
through the use of press releases, social media and research, as well as gather input from
the student body regarding certain issues determined by OSA. The Publicity Ambassador
will also be required to work with other marketing and journalism groups associated with
the University as needed to fulfill the duties of their position. Furthermore the Publicity
Ambassador will be a resource for general questions regarding the OSA affairs and
image.
General Staff Duties
 Report directly to the OSA Chief of Staff.
 Work with the OSA Marketing Committee on social media outlets (not including the
OSA website).
 Maintain a professional relationship with the Advance Titan as well as other news outlets.
 Maintain a professional relationship with the Reeve Marketing.
 Work in conjunction with the OSA Marketing Committee as deemed necessary.
 Able to communicate and report on the affairs of OSA.
 Assisting the President and Vice President as requested.
 Provide reports upon request to Senate and Assembly as requested
 Attend meetings amongst all other Directors/Ambassadors.
Qualifications
 Must have experience or substantive knowledge in marketing and publicity.
 Must be an enrolled student at UW Oshkosh.
 Ability to work independently and organize projects.
 Effective verbal and communication skills.
Wage/salary:
 No salary will be offered for this position.
