Some Key Points to Remember
If you register for a math block, it will take 2 class periods (so you will
have only 1 elective).
There is a summer reading project for Honors English 9. Go to the English
page at www.bashabears.com in late spring for details.
If you are taking Geometry or higher, we recommend you also take Honors
Biology.
Fall Sports Available: Badminton, Cross Country, Girls Volleyball, Boys &
Girls Golf, Football, Swimming, Freshman Tennis, and Spirit line.
If you’ve taken the same foreign language in both 7th and 8th grade, then
you may sign up for the 2nd year of that language.
Be sure to sign up for classes that are available to 9th graders
Beginning dance is not offered to 9th graders.
Any class signed up for that isn’t offered to 9th graders will be removed
from your schedule and one of your alternate choices will be selected.
Marching Band and Percussion meet after school as a 7th hour class.
