Levels of Organization Living organisms are considered to be “highly organized” This means that they are made up of different components working together in a specific way. We are going to learn how living organisms are highly organized. What did both the plant and animal have in common during the virtual dissections? They were both made of smaller parts working together to form a whole. How is a living organism a system? A living organism is made up of smaller parts working together just like a system.
