Marketing = ?
Marketing is the process of planning and
executing the conception, pricing, promotion,
and distribution of ideas, goods, services to
create exchanges that satisfy individual and
organizational goals.
Marketing is the art and science of choosing
target markets and getting, keeping, and growing
customers through creating, delivering, and
communicating superior customer value.
What is bank marketing ?
Bank marketing is the aggregate of functions,
directed at providing services to satisfy customer
financials (and other related) needs and wants,
more effectively and efficiently than the
competitors keeping in view the organization
objectives of the bank
Why bank marketing is
necessary ?
• The existence of the bank has little value without
the existence of the customer
• Aim is not only to create and win more and more
customers but also to retain them through
effective customer service
• Appropriate promise to a customer through a
range of services (products) and also to ensure
effective delivery through satisfaction is
necessary

• Assessing the present and future needs of the
customers
