• Overall, social media is one of the important touch points for
small businesses to participate in
• Social media levels the playing field for small businesses
because they can play with bigger companies in marketing
themselves with low barriers to entry
• Social media can be more fitting for certain industries in
generating leads based on strengths (demographics reached) of
particular outlets in showcasing your products or services and
being the right kind of touch points in your sales and marketing
cycles.
• Better audience targeting, engagement frequency, content
strategy, and execution consistency all are equally important in
driving the success of your social media marketing experience.

• Youtube appears to be a top daily engagement, with
Pinterest, Instagram and Twitter following lead.
• Blog, LinkedIn and Pinterest appear to be top weekly
engagement among the population surveyed.

majority of the survey participants in helping their
businesses increase sales, with LinkedIn and Facebook
