Double Circulatory System
The mammals have a double circulatory system.
Blood passes through the heart twice before being
pumped to the tissues of the body. The circulatory
system can be divided into two:
Pulmonary (including the heart and lungs).
Systemic (including the heart and the rest of body).
This means the heart has 2 sides!
