Trustee Responsibilities
The Department of Fish and Game
has Trustee responsibility to ensure
the long-term sustainability of native
fishes (Delta and longfin smelt and
anadromous salmonids) and
important non-native sport fish.
Delta Fish Population Trends

steeply declined since the 1990’s
