place in the Ancient Rome, in a
province of Germany, in the
Roman Empire, and in 180 after
J-C.

Maximus Decimus Meridius, and
Commode, the emperor of Rome.
The main actor is a fighter who
fights to revenge an old emperor.

Rusell Crowe plays Maximus Decimus Meridius, and Joackim Phoenix plays Commode.
Rusell Crowe plays a roman general, then a slave, and at the end becomes a gladiator, Joackim
Phoenix tries to usurp the power, and becomes emperor of Rome.
Rusell Crowe wants to revenge the death of the former emperor. to save Rome, from the ambitions
of Commode by killing him.
