STORY


Caesar decided that Pompey needed to get kicked out of his
position of power, and Pompey thought the same of Caesar.
Crassus, who had been watching their struggle, ready to take
on the winner himself, had been killed in Parthia so they didn’t
have to worry about him.
It was only recently that Pompey had come to fear Caesar. Up
until this time he had only despised him. It was through his
own influence, he thought, that Caesar had grown great, and
it would be just as easy to put him down as it had been to
raise him up. Caesar won the fight.
