Jill Coleman joins The Westerly as sales director and Caren Remmers as marketing assistant. Executive director Mark Schulte says the sales and marketing team will educate local seniors and their families about the exciting new lifestyle coming to Wichita Presbyterian Manor. “This redevelopment of the Wichita Manor campus will help us to meet the needs and desires of our current and future residents,” said Schulte. “Our new team members have the senior living and marketing expertise to guide prospective residents throughout the process and help them make the best decision for their retirement lifestyle.” Jill Coleman brings successful senior living marketing experience to The Westerly, having previously worked as marketing director for Mesa Springs Retirement Village in Abilene, Texas. In her new role as sales director, Coleman will lead The Westerly sales and marketing team to engage with Wichita seniors at every stage of their decision-­‐making process. -more-
Caren Remmers most recently worked as operations and controls specialist for Prudential Insurance Company of America, and her expertise lies in agency administration and office management. In her new role as marketing assistant, Remmers will support the sales and marketing team and work with future residents in answering questions and providing key information regarding the new development. Coleman and Remmers will work diligently as a team to provide consultations and extensive information at every point in the transition to a senior living community, and will showcase the benefits The Westerly will offer area seniors looking for an engaging retirement lifestyle. They join Amy Watson, who will continue serving as the Wichita Presbyterian Manor campus marketing director. The Westerly Residences and Wichita Presbyterian Manor redevelopment will continue to create expanded career opportunities with the Presbyterian Manors of Mid-­‐America organization. “Our senior leadership’s thorough review of the senior living market in Wichita has shown us many seniors are looking for this type of community,” said Schulte. “Now’s the perfect time to bring in these experienced staff members to help local seniors begin exploring their retirement opportunities.” The first phase of construction will include approximately 48 assisted living apartments, 24 assisted living memory support suites, 50 skilled nursing and rehabilitation rooms and new health care common spaces, including a main kitchen. The Westerly Residences are part of the second phase, which will add approximately 90 new independent living apartments, along with new aquatic and fitness facilities, a new dining venue, bistro, multi-­‐purpose room and library.
