Diocese of Wichita SERVICE AGREEMENT FOR SISTERS OF THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY THIS AGREEMENT, entered into this day of , 20 , by and between the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, a Religious Community, hereinafter referred to as Community, and , hereinafter referred to as Parish, for the services of Sisters, hereinafter referred to as Religious, which Religious are agents and members of Community and are each subject to a vow of poverty. Community authorizes and Parish agrees to accept services of Religious women, namely, and to serve in School, hereinafter referred to as School, in the position of for the 20 - 20 school term, the specific dates of which shall be established by School, subject to the following conditions: 1. The days of service shall begin on , 20 , and end on , 20 . The full school term consists of days of service. 2. Religious will serve School in the position and specific duties assigned. Such duties include attendance at required meetings, but are to be consistent with the enclosed Memorandum of Understanding, which is incorporated herein by reference. 3. Religious shall abide by all the rules and regulations of School and those of the Catholic Diocese of Wichita, hereinafter referred to as Diocese, as expressed in the current Handbook of Policies for the Catholic Schools of the Diocese of Wichita, as amended from time to time, and the local school handbook, which rules and regulations are incorporated herein by reference. Community agrees that as a condition of service, Religious will support and exemplify in conduct both Catholic doctrine and morality, and shall not teach, advocate, encourage, emulate or counsel beliefs or practices contrary to the Catholic faith. Religious will maintain both Kansas teaching license(s) and Diocesan catechetical certificate(s), where required by Diocesan policy. 4. In consideration of such services, and in compliance with Rev. Rul. 77-290, Community shall receive the sum of $ , in monthly installments as itemized in Paragraph 6. 5. It is expressly understood by all parties hereto that the relationship of Religious as agent of Community to School is one of Community Mission and not one of employer and employee. 6. The amount of sick, personal, and/or other leave is available to Religious as defined in the Handbook of Policies for the Catholic Schools of the Diocese of Wichita and the local school handbook.
