Group Assignment
Divide into groups. Each group will be asked to give
a presentation summarizing the main points of either
articles 25-26 or articles 26-27. Your presentation
should involve a power point. See next slides for
questions to be answered.
If you have been assigned articles 25-26, be
sure to answer the following questions as part
of your presentation:
1) How is the Church catholic in two senses?
Explain what each sense means in detail.
2) What are the three free divine gifts the Holy
Spirit has given to the Church?
3) Why does the Church of Rome have special
authority?
If you have been assigned articles 27-28, be
sure to answer the following questions as part
of your presentation:
1) Why does the Church have a unique
relationship with Judaism?
2) What are some beliefs shared by Islam and the
Catholic faith?
3) Identify three ways the practices of the Eastern
Catholic Churches differ from the practices of
the Latin Church.
