Online Marketing Technician
Evolve Systems (located in St. Paul, MN) is looking for a talented entry-level online marketing
technician/SEO Integrator/graphic designer who is adept at web design and possesses a good
understanding of writing, branding, UI and front-end concepts. The ideal candidate will have technical
expertise in creating website and application designs using modern, front-end technologies and
frameworks. They will be working with project lead designers, and back-end developers to lead and
execute development. The successful candidate must thrive as a member of a small team and gracefully
manage last-minute changes in timelines and scope and project management.

Responsibilities:











Work with clients in B2B and B2C environments to gather feedback and implement solutions according to
the Evolve Systems 5 Step Process
Design graphical user interfaces for professional web projects and mobile applications, with a focus on
providing clean, innovative and compelling user experience
Generate and maintain organized, well documented native design files
Use responsive design techniques for web development across multiple platforms
Assist in testing cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility for inconsistencies
Work with back-end developers and project managers to establish production timelines
Continually support customers with their ongoing web and mobile projects
Assist in developing on-going offerings and retainer agreements to deliver planned content updates to
include: website updates, creation of landing pages, promos and ad banners, seasonal specials and blog
content, social media, SEO, and PPC
Stay current with design and technology trends
Support Evolve Systems initiatives of community involvement, continued training and team focus
Other duties as assigned such as:
• Researches keywords and sets client keyword strategy
• Monitors analytics for all clients
• Completes on-page optimization of website
• Oversees strategy and distribution of assets such as infographics, etc.
• Works with other departments on interdepartmental projects.
Required Skills/Qualifications









Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work related experience in graphic design or a related field.
A good eye for detail
Self-motivation to work independently as well as to be an effective and driving force as part of a team
Proficiency working with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign) basic knowledge of
HTML, CSS, and WordPress
Light site coding HTML5 and CSS3 for responsive design (heavy development work will be completed by
our programmers)
Strong sense of web design and a general understanding of the fundamentals of user experience and
cross-platform compatibility
Ability to handle multiple tasks through prioritization and time management skills, exceptional
collaboration and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills (both oral and written); effective communication of issues and resolutions
to team members
Strong customer service skills and ability to assist with helpdesk requests from clients
Desired Skills/Qualifications





Experience working with other web content management systems (CMS), SEO, Blogging and content
delivery for social media
Experience administering users, workflows, permissions and developing specifications and schemas
Illustration skills
Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics
Experience working with popular keyword tools
Understanding of web technology and server environments
