JOB POSTING DATA ANALYST Vincentric (www.vincentric.com) is a privately held automotive data compilation and analysis firm headquartered in Bingham Farms, Michigan. The company provides data, knowledge, and insight to the automotive industry with a blue-chip client base, including AOL, Yahoo!, Cars.com, General Motors, Toyota and many other well recognized organizations. Recent growth requires the addition of a Data Analyst who is comfortable multi-tasking in a small, growing organization. Job Title: Data Analyst Job Description: The primary role of this position is to understand and incorporate Vincentric’s automotive source data into the Vincentric databases, and to be responsible for the resulting accuracy. This will require using a variety of techniques including electronic data integration, manual data entry, spreadsheet uploads, and other processes as needed. This position will be a great fit for an automotive enthusiast looking for a “hands-on” position with a large degree of autonomy. Specific responsibilities include: Working with various types of source data, including: Vehicle price and specifications, such as Miles Per Gallon (MPG) data, engine descriptions, and transmission types Used vehicle valuations Automotive parts pricing and labor times Insurance coding data State fees and taxes data Extended warranty price data Interest rates Fuel prices Being able to understand, analyze, and interpret the source data Correctly entering source data into Vincentric databases Skills Required: Extremely detail oriented, analytical, innovative and ability to multi-task Microsoft Office experience with emphasis on Excel and Access Strong documentation skills Excellent communication skills Excellent math skills Skills Desired: An understanding and familiarity with database technology Knowledge of the automotive industry Knowledge of automotive repair services Prior experience working with automotive maintenance and repair information Ability to identify anomalies and potential inaccuracies in the source data ___________________________________________ Vincentric, LLC ● 248-430-4121 ● www.vincentric.com Education: Bachelor's degree.
