DA TA S HE ET PROsine 1000i inverter Provides 1000 watts of true sine wave AC power from a DC source Designed for both recreational and industrial applications, PROsine™ 1000i converts 12- or 24-volt DC battery power to 230-volts, 50-hertz, true sine wave AC power. The 1000-watt output is capable of handling heavy duty AC loads or smaller, multiple AC loads. The PROsine 1000i 230VAC power inverter has CE approval, meeting EN50091-1 UPS General and Safety requirements; and EN50091-2: UPS EMC requirements. With 30 to 45% less distortion than modified sine wave inverters, PROsine’s output is precise, well-regulated and identical to utilitysupplied power. The clean output makes PROsine ideal for handling sensitive loads. It’s low electromagnetic interference (EMI) level has minimal effect on other onboard equipment like televisions and sensitive navigational instruments. • true sine wave output with less than PROsine is lighter and more compact than other inverters with similar power ratings because it uses high-frequency switching technology in the power conversion process. The PROsine 1000i is available in both 12- and 24-volt models with several AC configurations: Features 3% total harmonic distortion • 1000-watt, 230 volt AC, 50-hertz output • CE marked • detachable LCD panel for monitoring and functional control. It attaches in four different positions or remotely with the addition of the optional remote interface panel • DC connection terminals designed to accept battery cables in 180 degrees of rotation • rugged, durable chassis • compact and light weight • easy to install • Standard UK, European (Schuko) or Australian AC receptacles • AC hardwire terminal strip for permanent installation into an electrical system • terminal strip plus built-in transfer relay for permanent installation and backup power applications Powerful, true sine AC power from a DC source Protection features • over temperature shutdown • automatic overload protection • reverse polarity protection • short circuit protection • AC backfeed protection • over voltage protection • under voltage protection PROsine 1000i specifications Electrical performance Maximum continuous power 1000W Surge capability (5 seconds) 1500W Peak output current 11A No load current draw (12V/24V) <1.8A / <0.9A (search mode) <0.13A / < 0.63A (power save mode) Efficiency 90% Output waveform true sine wave <3% THD Output frequency 50Hz ±0.05% (crystal controlled) Output voltage (at no load) 230VAC RMS ±3% Output voltage (over full load AND battery voltage range) 230 AC RMS -10%/+4% Input voltage range 12V / 24V 10 – 16 VDC / 20 – 32VDC Transfer relay rating (hardwire/transfer relay models) 10A Transfer time AC to Inverter and Inverter to AC Max 2 cycles (typically 1 cycle) <2.5 seconds with POWERSAVE “ON” Mechanical performance Operating temperature 0ºC to 60ºC Weight 7.0kg Dimensions 390mm x 280mm x 115mm Storage temperature -30 to +70ºC Protection features Over temperature yes, shutdown Input protection • Battery reverse polarity fuse protected (non-user serviceable) • Over voltage (12V / 24V) battery cut-out 16VDC / 32VDC • Under voltage (12V / 24V) battery cut-out 10VDC / 20VDC Output protection • Overload Backfeed protection yes yes Regulatory approvals General and safety requirements CE: EN50091 - 1: UPS EMC CE: EN50091 - 2: UPS Options • Built-in Transfer Relay Choose a model with a built-in transfer relay and enjoy the benefits of a backup power system. With a built-in transfer, the PROsine 1000i immediately begins inverting DC battery power to deliver AC power to the loads if utility AC power fails or is disconnected from the unit. When utility AC is available again, it automatically switches back. • PROsine Interface Panel replaces the LCD display on the unit so that the LCD can be mounted remotely • DC Hardwire Kit contains equipment and connectors required to hardwire the unit to an electrical system and take advantage of the built-in transfer switch Merlin Equipment Ltd, Unit 4 Cabot Business Village, Cabot Lane, Poole, Dorset, BH17 7BA, UK T: 01202 697979 F: 01202 691919 E: [email protected] DA TA S HE ET PROsine 1800i inverter Provides 1800 watts of true sine wave AC power from a DC source Designed for both recreational and industrial applications, PROsine™ 1800i converts 12- or 24-volt DC battery power to 230-volts, 50-hertz, true sine wave AC power.
