Job Description: • • • • • • • • • • • • Provide leadership for journeymen and apprentices Read and interpret drawings, the Canadian Electrical Code and client work package specifications Cut, thread, bend and assemble conduits and other types of electrical raceways and fittings Pull wire and cable through conduits and raceways. Position maintain and install distribution and control equipment such as MCC distribution equipment, medium to high voltage distribution equipment, relay panels, breaker panels, metering equipment, control panels, VFD’s and other electrical equipment as required by the drawings Install single and multi-conductor cables in trays and underground raceways Install raceway systems, control systems, motor control systems, power generation systems and signalling systems Install heat trace (MI & SR) and all associated equipment including panels and control systems Install power connection and termination kits, install grounding systems Construct and install cable tray and tray support systems Conduct loop check and pre-commissioning tests, perform terminations Mentor apprentices Comply with standards and procedures in addition to Occupational Health & Safety Regulations Job Requirements: • • • • • • • • • • • • 3 years of industrial Electrical Experience, preferably in a supervisory role Must have Inter-provincial (Red Seal) Electrician Ticket Understands English, speaks average to excellent English and average to excellent reading skills Positive, outgoing, motivated and hardworking individual Willingness to work a flexible schedule Thorough knowledge of the principles of electricity, circuitry and power distribution systems Familiarity with the materials and techniques of construction Competent use of hand and power tools and test equipment Able to read and interpret blueprints Ability to conduct work while standing, bending, crawling, lifting, climbing, pulling and reaching Ability to conduct work in confined spaces, on ladders, manlifts, etc and comfortable working from heights CSTS, preferred Applicants can apply via the provided online form, fax or email: Online Form: http://www.onecgroup.com/careers/ Fax: (780) 440-0933 Email: [email protected] We thank all applicants for their interest, but only those selected for interviews will be contacted.
